Description

 The Care Management Educator is responsible for providing Care Management

staff across the system with training, coaching and support; issue identification, assessment and

resolution; and technical support to achieve desired outcomes and compliance with Piedmont

Healthcare policies/procedures and standards. May perform quality reviews and analysis to

support internal controls, monitor employee performance and assist in partner development,

retention and selection.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Oversees CM Training / Education Process:

Conducts needs assessment to include methods of interviews, questionnaires, tests, group

problem analysis, examination of existing records and reports. Needs may be determined by

researching data entry accuracy / productivity reports, task analysis and communications

received from associates / management

Documents annual quality assurance / training strategy and plan (competency requirements,

expected outcomes, target audience, budget, and facility/equipment requirements)

Develops learning objectives, priorities, structure, activities, instructional media, materials

and methods of instruction most appropriate for the group / individual and at the appropriate

skill level (novice, advanced, remedial)

Translates the designed program into actual training materials and strategies. Completes

lesson plan documents, choosing methods and media appropriate for each instructional

 
 This position will be in the office 80% of time.  Will be opportunity to work remote.

Requirements

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Two (2) years of experience working across a complex organization as an internal or external

consultant with all levels of management, to improve clinical education. Healthcare experience

required. Experience in the field of adult development, adult learning, organizational learning,

organizational effectiveness, performance management / performance improvement

experience with classroom and computer-based adult education. Previous Care Management

experience required.

 

MINIMUM LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:

Registered nursing (RN) license in the state of Georgia, required

 

ADDITION AL QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in leading both clinical and non-clinical education and development preferred.

Degree and / or certification in Education, Organizational Development, Healthcare or Business

Administration or other healthcare profession is preferred.

Epic Certification preferred.

Certification and experience within adult education highly desired.
