Intensive Care Unit (ICU) 18 beds. Patient population consist of chest pain, CHF, renal disease, DKA, digestive disease, pulmonary disease and standard critical care patients. Nursing competency includes BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification, and ICU nursing care

We are seeking nurses with critical care experience who are looking to expand their knowledge and skills with our growing ICU.  Nurses will collaborate with our Intensivist and others of the Multidisciplinary team to provide complex care to patients to improve clinical outcomes. We endeavor to foster an environment of care and respect for our patients, families and the nursing team.  Nurses will perform assessment and collect data based on the nursing process. Skills should include the ability to function in a fast pace environment, good communication, show initiative, and work well as a team.

We offer our nurses many opportunities to get involved via the shared governance council, unit-based councils, and a plethora of committees so your voice is always heard. Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, as well as operational issues during his/her shift.  Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.  Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).  Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.




Graduate of a nursing program.  


One (1) year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required.


Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.  



Two (2) or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.     

Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum). Demonstrated clinical competency.
