Description
JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for maintaining and repairing boilers and auxiliary equipment. Schedules and performs repairs, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment. Maintain required documentation with posted certifications and operating permits. Maintains the facility in accordance with guidelines and Life Safety Codes. Strong knowledge of NFPA 25, 70, 99, 72 and 110. Provide budget requests to management.
Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
5 years of experience as Boiler Tech
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
Power Engineering State License-Class 4. Journeyman or Georgia State License in one of the following: HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing.
Underground Storage Tank Operator Class A.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid Georgia driver’s license & adhere to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500 criteria preferred.
