Strategic Sourcing Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION: Information Technology and Software Sourcing Strongly preferred

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Lead strategic sourcing initiatives with the ability of achieving significant cost reductions, supplanted with year over year savings and operational improvements in the total cost of goods and services procured while maintaining or improving product quality and supplier service levels. Leads, facilitates, assembles, and manages cross-functional teams across the system of Piedmont Healthcare to drive system wide performance improvements, cost reductions, improved or enhanced service level and quality excellence, and knowledge transfer for replication of best practices. Coordinates with Supply Chain to ensure that all agreements are properly loaded within systems and products or services are properly implemented operationally. Effective communications to key stakeholders including but not limited to medical staff, clinicians, legal, executive leaders and supplier executives.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Administration, Nursing or a closely related field is required.
In lieu of degree, six (6) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Five (5) years of experience in a Supply Chain or related role where financial analysis, contracting, and/or clinical analysis is required.
A comprehensive knowledge of assigned commodities and materials management principles and practices is required.
(If no degree, a total of eleven (11) years of experience required.)

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess strong analytical skills including ability to construct and execute multiple complex analyses (TCO, EVC, NPV) simultaneously.
Must possess ability to translate implications of analyses into preliminary recommendations.
