Quality & Process Improvement Program Manager

JOB PURPOSE:
Plans, monitors, and directs strategically and operationally important projects and programs across the
Quality and Safety office. Primarily focused on organizing and coordinating Piedmonts Quality and
Process Improvement (QPI) program. Partners with key organizational leaders (learning and
development) to facilitate the program throughout the year. Engages key stakeholders throughout the
system to ensure the program is meeting the needs of the organization. This role will also link all PI
leaders across the system to provide a single QPI program across the healthcare system. Collaborates
with external partners when needed to facilitate the program if needed. In addition, this role actively
supports ongoing prioritized performance improvement initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provides consultative, technical and decision-making support to the System Safety and Quality
Executive leadership regarding Piedmonts QPI program.
2. Oversees programs, projects and other essential functions to achieve key quality and operational
metrics for the program.
3. Provides project management, on-going support, follow-up analysis and implementation support for
programmatic projects with widely varying scope.
4. Collaborates with multiple stakeholders to execute on successfully delivering a highly professional
quality and process improvement training program for Piedmont leaders and employees.
5. Creates and maintains the programs curriculum.
6. Matches course content with the appropriate speakers.
7. Develops a feedback mechanism to receive input post course completion from participants to ensure
continuous improvement of the course itself.
8. Presents and communicates in a professional and effective manner.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree in Health Systems, Engineering, Healthcare/Business Administration or related field
required.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Five (5) years of progressively responsible professional work experience involving project management,
quality, or process improvement, to include three (3) years in a healthcare environment.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters degree preferred.
Program management experience preferred.
