NURSE RESIDENCY PROGRAM
Learning to lead
We believe in you — your potential, commitment to holistic patient care, and dedication to your goals. That’s why we fully support your residency with our system resources. As you grow your career at Piedmont, you can earn additional degrees, take advantage of leadership training, and sub-specialize in multiple areas of medicine.
Our 12-month, comprehensive, transition-to-practice program facilitates your progress from student to professional nurse through education, mentorship, and peer support to continuously improve quality and safety at the point of care.
Career development
RN Residency cohorts begin three times per year: spring (Feb/March), summer (July/August), and fall (Oct/Nov). Openings for the RN Residency Program are posted approximately 5-6 months before the start dates.
