JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for performing treadmills. Evaluates and analyzes all data, during treadmill, which includes
interpreting EKGs, monitoring for any change in cardiac rhythm, monitoring patients condition and
comfort level and ensures that the proper data is recorded/collected for the physician to finalize the
interpretation.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/ LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Human Performance, Adult
Health & Fitness, or related field. - ORCertified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) -ORCurrent certification as a Paramedic in the State of Georgia.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
BCLS Certification or minimum one (1) year of experience performing treadmill stress testing, and
interpreting electrocardiograms.
Basic ECG and arrhythmia interpretation required.
Basic knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology and terminology required.
