Mgr 3rd Party A/R Follow-Up

JOB PURPOSE:
Providing leadership overseeing the daily operations of A/R follow-up function for Piedmont Healthcare. Functions under the responsibility of A/R Follow-up include contacting third party payors to collect on unpaid claims in a timely and accurate manner, and others as assigned. This leader is responsible for managing the A/R Follow-Up Representatives, and reports to the Director of Hospital Third Party A/R.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree from a recognized college or university OR six (6) years of related Revenue Cycle experience beyond the minimum experience required, preferably within A/R Follow-up, will be accepted in lieu of degree.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
At least five (5) previous years of related Revenue Cycle experience within Patient Financial Services or the A/R Follow-up function. At least three (3) years of management/supervisory experience.
NOTE: With Bachelors degree five (5) years experience required. If no Bachelors degree, eleven (11) years required.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
N/A.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
At least eight (8) previous years of related Revenue Cycle experience, preferably within A/R Follow-up. At least five (5) years of management experience. Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association.
