Registered Nurse, NICU, FT Night Shift

We are an 8 bed Level III NICU that helps meet the complex needs of our community.
Management of patients having or requiring:
Born at EGA of 28 weeks ( 2 weeks)
Respiratory distress/failure requiring conventional ventilation or lesser degree of respiratory support (CPAP, NC, High flow/Low Flow, NIV)
Readmission for convalescent management of infants post-retinal, post neurosurgery, and post pediatric surgery
Any seizures or seizure like activity
Management of care prior to transfer of newborns with congenital:
Gastro-intestinal lesions
Heart disease that may need cardiothoracic surgery management
Neurological lesions (except for a prenatally diagnosed vein of Galen malformation) that may need neurosurgery management
Urological lesions (and without the pregnancy being complicated by anhydramnios/oligohydramnios) that may need urological surgery management
Metabolic disorders

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of a nursing program
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
BLS certification required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
For PRN positions: One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred
Bachelors degree preferred
Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
