Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative APP Lead to provide clinical and operational leadership for our Advanced Practice Provider team. This role blends hands-on clinical care with leadership responsibility, offering the opportunity to shape team performance, drive quality outcomes, and influence the future of neuroscience care delivery.
As a key liaison between physicians, administrative leaders, and APPs, you will play a critical role in fostering team engagement, optimizing staffing models, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. You will be supported with dedicated weekly administrative time.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management
- Provide direct leadership, mentorship, and support to a team of APPs
- Foster a high-performing team culture focused on accountability, engagement, and professional growth
- Conduct annual performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
- Address performance and behavioral concerns with professionalism and consistency
Staffing, Recruitment & Workforce Planning
- Partner with administrative leadership on APP recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies
- Oversee scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage aligned with clinical demand
- Proactively adjust staffing models to respond to volume changes and operational needs
- Ensure team readiness for surge capacity and operational disruptions
Operations & Clinical Excellence
- Support day-to-day clinical and administrative operations of the APP team
- Maintain a care environment that prioritizes safety, efficiency, and patient experience
- Deliver expert clinical care as a practicing APP, maintaining regular clinical shifts
- Promote adherence to evidence-based practices and organizational standards
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven ability to lead and inspire clinical teams while maintaining a professional and collaborative demeanor
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Knowledge of regulatory and legal frameworks relevant to APP practice
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex and evolving situations
- Ability to interpret and execute instructions across multiple formats (written, verbal, and data-driven)
- Strong relationship-building skills both within and outside the organization
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate from a school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and aMasters degree in Nursing, OR graduate of a Physician Assistant program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCEPREFERRED:
Threeyears of previous supervisory or lead experience.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Georgia OR Licensed for Advanced Practice Nursing (ACNP, FNP, and WHNP). Updated NCCPA certification forPAs.
