Here at Piedmont Heart Institute, we are looking for a BC/BE Cardiac Emergency Medicine-Critical Care Physician or our Piedmont Atlanta Hospital location. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality and compassionate care to patients.

Job Requirements:

• BC MD or DO
• Boarded in Cardiology preferred
• Active license in GA or eligible to obtain
• PREFERRED: 3 - 5 years' experience in Cardiac Critical Care role
• This opportunity would be a good fit for a physician interested in minimal cardiac surgery, ECMO/MCS, cardiac surgery anesthesia, and post-op care. Additionally, applicants should have a strong interest in Mechanical Circulatory Support / ECMO.

In 2023 by volume, Piedmont Heart was 4^th in the country for heart transplants and top 5 program for ECMO runs and LVAD implantations. In addition to supporting a 42-bed CVICU and 22-bed CCU, our cardiac intensivist group also runs a remote ECMO cannulation program. This program allows us to support hospitals in the greater Atlanta area by giving them access to expert ECMO services. Piedmont Atlanta Hospitals Extracorporeal Life Support (ECLS) program is the first in the nation to earn ECLS Program Certification from DNV GL Healthcare.
