Cardiac Sonographer II WEO

Overview:

Location: Piedmont Newnan Hospital

Shift: Part-time; Weekends Only/Call Required

Status: Days

Department: ECHO

Sign on Bonus: $6,000 for experienced candidates

Responsibilities:

Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures
according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to
include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

Qualifications:

Education-Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Required

1 year of related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient / ambulatory cardiac sonographer Required

Licenses/Certifications

BCLS - Basic Life Support Required and
RCS - Registered CardiacSonographerRequired or ARDCS - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Required or
CCI - CardiovascularCredentialing International Required
