Cath Lab Tech

Overview: Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures. Responsibilities: Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures. Qualifications: Education

• Graduate of an accredited a RCIS program Required or
• Graduate of an accredited program in nursing, respiratory, paramedic, imaging, or exercise physiology. Required

• 1 year Healthcare Imaging, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, Respiratory, or RN experience Required or
• No experience required if a graduate of an RCIS program Required

• Based on healthcare experience (see above), applicable license. Upon Hire Required and
• RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist If a graduate of RCIS program RCIS within 2 Years Required or
• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire Required or
• RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Upon Hire Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• ACLS Upon Hire Required
