Clinical Manager - MedSurg

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate RN Clinical Manager to lead two highly collaborative inpatient units providing post-surgical, medical-surgical, and hospice care. This role is ideal for a nurse leader who is passionate about developing staff, driving quality outcomes, and creating a culture where nurses feel supported, respected, and empowered.

As the RN Clinical Manager, you will provide day-to-day operational and clinical leadership, partnering closely with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient care and a positive staff experience.

About the Unit

• 31-Bed Post-Surgical / Med-Surg Unit
  A fast-paced environment caring for post-operative and medically complex patients, with a strong focus on safety, throughput, and patient education.
• 15-Bed Med-Surg / Hospice Unit
  A unique hybrid unit delivering both acute medical care and hospice services, allowing for deeply meaningful patient and family connections.

Responsibilities: Administrative and operational responsibility for assigned departments, including management of cost and finance, human resources, operations, quality of care and clinical outcomes, patient/physician and staff satisfaction, change management and any other relevant responsibilities related to this position. Serves as part of the entity management team and Shared Governance Model focused on promoting the mission, vision and values, of PHC and Nursing Professional Practice, embracing a person-centered philosophy while promoting patient- family centered services across the continuum and enhancing value-driven outcomes. Responsible for succession planning, identifying talent, providing support, education, and resources to grow future nursing leaders. May be required to assists in staffing as necessary to provide clinical care for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Qualifications: Education

• Graduate of a nursing program Required
• Bachelors Degree Preferred

Work Experience

• 3 years of nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient roles) or clinical (outpatient roles) setting, including at least one (1) year of relevant leadership experience Required
• Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area applying for Required

Licenses and Certifications

• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse Required

Additional Licenses and Certifications

• BLS certification Required
