RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Assesses the nutritional status of geriatric, adult, adolescent and pediatric patients.
- Develops and revises an evidenced based nutrition care plan to meet patients nutrition needs.
- Provides nutritional support to patients receiving enteral or parenteral nutrition
- Educates patients and family members to ensure understanding of appropriate nutrition needs to support illness, promote recovery and improve function
- Participates in multi-disciplinary rounds, committees and support groups
- Acts as preceptor to nutrition interns
- Ensures patient satisfaction, quality care,regulatory agency compliance, and good public relations are achieved through the safe and efficient use of
resources.

Qualifications:Education
- Bachelors Degree Bachelor's degree Required
Work Experience
- 1 year Entry Level - Minimum work experience as a dietitian Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- Current Licensure in the State of GA as a Dietitian Required
Additional Licenses and Certifications
- Registered Dietitian (Commission on Dietetic Registration) Required
