General Surgery

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a board-certified General Surgeon at our Piedmont Athens Regional hospital location, in Athens, Georgia. Piedmont Athens is a college campus town with a dynamic healthcare reputation that has been building over many years. Piedmont Athens Regional is a level two trauma center with a vast depth of specialized healthcare providers.

The ideal providers will have the passion and motivation to contribute to a well-established clinical practice while maintaining the highest professional care as is always demonstrated within the Piedmont organization. The applicant will enjoy being part of a dynamic team of professionals that have been practicing in Athens for most of their careers.

Requirements & Highlights:

• BC/BE MD or DO
• 3 years or more experience after general surgery residency
• Reasonable call schedule
• Significant, steady stream of referrals/consults from the surrounding community
• Robotics is a plus but not a must.
• EPIC EMR
