Responsibilities: Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks on diagnostic medical equipment specific medical devices. Inspect, test, replace and adjust malfunctioning components and parts. Keep records of system problems and issues. Qualifications:
Education
- Associate's Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronic Technology, Imaging Service Technology or a related field OR In lieu of , Required or
- In Lieu of degree related military training. Required or
- In Lieu of degree three (3) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement Required
Work Experience
- 5 years of experience (expert trained) performing corrective and preventive maintenance on high-tech diagnostic equipment, such as CT, MRI, Cath & IR labs, Nuclear Med, Mammography, Linear Accelerators. Required or
- In lieu of degree eight (8) years of relevant experience (see above) Required
Licenses and Certifications
- Must possess specialized training by manufacturer or third-party equipment repair in high end equipment such Diagnostic Imaging Service Required
- Certified Radiology Equipment Service (CRES) Preferred
