APP- Inpatient Surg Non-OR (Transplant, PRN)

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join the collaborative team of Piedmont Transplant. The Advanced Practice Provider inpatient team covers liver, kidney, and pancreas transplant patients and patients with hepatobiliary disorders. The Piedmont Transplant Institute is a leader in the Southeast in patient outcomes, transplant volumes, and community outreach: performing 300 kidney transplants and ~140 liver transplants in the most recent fiscal year.

Responsibilities:

This is a PRN position with needed availability to cover roughly six shifts, including at least one weekend. There is no OR, and there are no nights.

Preferred Qualifications:

1 year of work experience as an Inpatient PA or NP.

Minimum Education Required:

PA: Graduate of a Physician Assistants program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board

NP: Graduate from a school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Master's degree in Nursing
