Low Voltage Tech

Responsibilities:

Provides audio/visual support for Piedmont Atlanta's audio/visual meeting spaces, classrooms and auditoriums. Maintains and repairs mechanical, electrical, plumbing, TV, and security systems in the facility

Qualifications:

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• Graduate of an accredited trade/vocational schools Preferred

Work Experience

• 2 years experience with low voltage systems (fire alarm, nurse call, paging, TV signal distribution and tube system) Required
• Experience in healthcare Preferred
• Experience with managing AV equipment and software Preferred
• Some experience with video production equipment and video and audio editing Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Level I certification by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) in Fire Alarm Systems and/or Inspection & Testing of Water-Based Systems Upon Hire Required
