Responsibilities: Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence under the supervision of designated physical therapy staff. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff. Achieves the Goals and Objectives set by the Residency Program. Employment will be for a period of 12 -14 months unless resident fails to meet Goals and Objectives at which time employment may be terminated. Qualifications: Education
- an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT. Required
- No experience required Required
- PT - Physical Therapist Upon Hire Required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
- Must maintain current CEU's as required by the State Required
