Responsibilities:Performs all functions of case finding, abstraction, database maintenance, report production, and patient follow-up for the trauma registry.
Qualifications:Education
- Associates Degree Minimum of Associate in health-related field Required
Work Experience
- No experience required Required
- 1 year experience in medical coding in a hospital setting is Preferred
- 2 years Work experience of at least with strong emphasis on data integrity and analysis is Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- N/A Required
Additional Licenses and Certifications
- RN licensure Preferred
- Certified Specialist in Trauma Registry (CSTR) Preferred
- ICD-10 certification Preferred
- AIS Certification Preferred
- One year experience in medical coding in a hospital setting Preferred
- Work experience of at least two years with strong emphasis on data integrity and analysis Preferred
