Why Piedmont Athens
Continually integrating state-of-the-art technology with healthcare, this 427-bed acute care facility includes a regional Level II trauma center and a Level III neonatal ICU, supported by a robust network of primary care physicians and specialists who offer comprehensive care for patients of all ages. We continue to expand our facilities to make patient care more convenient and accessible for patients across the region.
As part of its commitment to accessible, connected care, the hospital serves as a clinical training site for Internal Medicine and Transitional Year medical residents. Piedmont Athens Regional is also proud to be the official healthcare provider for the University of Georgia Athletic Association and The Athens Rock Lobsters.
