ABOUT US
Why Piedmont Columbus — Midtown Campus
Piedmont Columbus Regional dates back to 1836 when the local hospital was a small building on the banks of the Chattahoochee River. It is now the region’s healthcare leader, offering compassionate care and unwavering commitment to patients. Piedmont Columbus Regional consists of two primary hospitals, a children’s hospital, a cancer center, four retail pharmacy locations, and over 40 physician practice locations. Piedmont Columbus Regional is also the lead agency for Safe Kids Columbus, proud partner of Auburn University Athletics, and the official health care provider of the Columbus Clingstones.
Midtown Campus is a licensed 583-bed acute care hospital featuring a regional Level II trauma center and one of six perinatal centers in the state with a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. As the only Piedmont facility with a pediatric hospital, the Bill and Olivia Amos Children’s Hospital serves children from birth through age 18. Midtown Campus is home to Family Medicine, Pharmacy, and Nurse Residency programs.
