Piedmont Columbus Regional dates back to 1836 when the local hospital was a small building on the banks of the Chattahoochee River. It is now the region’s healthcare leader, offering compassionate care and an unwavering commitment to patients. Piedmont Columbus Regional consists of two primary hospitals, a children’s hospital, a cancer center, four retail pharmacy locations, and over 40 physician practice locations. Piedmont Columbus Regional is also the lead agency for Safe Kids Columbus, proud partner of Auburn University Athletics, and the official health care provider of the Columbus Clingstones.
Since 1984, Piedmont Columbus Regional’s Northside Campus has provided excellence in community care. This licensed 100-bed, general acute care community hospital specializes in orthopedic, spine, bariatrics, surgical services and is nationally recognized for delivering outstanding clinical quality, accompanied by the highest levels of customer service. The hospital provides a full range of services including emergency services, spine treatment and surgery, knee and hip joint replacement, general surgery, bariatric surgery, robotic surgery, gynecological surgery, urology surgery, advanced reconstructive surgery, endoscopy and inpatient dialysis.
