As a part of Piedmont Healthcare, the largest not-for-profit health care provider in Georgia, Piedmont Macon offers expert care at two hospitals, two urgent care centers and an occupational medicine center in Macon. Having served Macon for over 50 years, we take pride in the outstanding patient-centered care we provide, and our record of accomplishments speaks for itself.
Piedmont Macon Medical Center is a 310-bed facility providing a robust ER, exceptional surgical care, including robotic surgery and advanced heart procedures, maternity services with level III NICU care and a primary stroke center. Piedmont Macon is designated as a Level 1 Emergency Cardiac Center and boasts a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. Additionally, the hospital has top-notch oncology services, rehabilitation programs and behavioral health offerings.
