Overview:

Piedmont Macon North is a 103-bed community hospital nestled in the Georgia pines and offers expertise in a variety of specialties, including orthopedic care, spine care, bariatric surgery, and gastric reflux disease. Piedmont Macon North was established in 1984 by Charter Medical Corporation as Charter Northside Hospital. In 1993, Quorum, a Nashville, Tennessee-based hospital management company, purchased 13 medical-surgical hospitals from Charter Medical, including Northside. In 1998, Quorum and HCA merged Coliseum Medical Centers and Macon Northside Hospitals to provide our community with better access to quality healthcare.

Now known as Piedmont Macon North, the facility resides on a beautifully landscaped campus between Forest Hill Road and Forsyth Road in Macon. It proudly serves residents of middle Georgia with a full array of comprehensive services.

Responsibilities: The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy. Qualifications:

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• No experience required
• 1 year of patient care experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
• Certification from a Patient Care Technician program Preferred
